There is something magical about smoothies and I like to use them every day. My smoothies are super fruity, quite nutritional (I love fruit) and very fast to make. They are a definite anti-NM diet tool and a great way to lose weight if you are serious about it.
Despite me being fairly health conscious with my diet, I still get queasy when I have a fruit smoothie or juice. The nutritional aspect is important because eventually, your smoothie will help satisfy your whole nutritional need. Having a fruit smoothie for breakfast is an easy way to get your recommended minerals and vitamins that are a must for a healthy body.
conditioned Western cultures are generally very dull when it comes to fruit and vegetables. They generally have no idea how to use their fruit and vegetables, they wash them maybe a few times but that is about it. The importance of eating whole is very important.
My smoothie is a simple recipe, as such it is quite hard to screw up, but once you have done it right you can’t go back to vanilla. As far as colouring, absolutely nothing. I prefer my smoothies to a more natural looking dark green colour, I think it might be slightly brown but I haven’t figured out the right way to achieve that yet.
This is a smoothie that is 3 ingredients and about 30 minutes in the blender.
Mix all the ingredients for the smoothie in a large bowl and add ice.
Blend for 30 seconds and serve immediately.
I earlier discovered amazing fruit smoothie recipes that use almost every fruit possible. There are many vibrant colour combinations available and you can’t go wrong using a significant amount of them.
producing fruit smoothies is a whole lot easier than you might think and it’s well worth the effort once you have got the knack of it. It’s a great thing to make for kids or friends for example because they are so easy to collect.
As they say, below the beltway, where the smoothie is king
Over the years I have realised that many people like to eat smoothies for breakfast because it is a filling and delightfully tasty way to start the day. I am not a fan of pancakes or omelettes and although I love fusion food, I generally remain loyal to my local food roots.
In this regard, I am a fan of smoothies and so in this part of the world, I have used smoothies as part of the basic ingredients in many of my favourite recipes. Smoothies are a great way to start the day, as they can be prepared so quickly and easily. Using a blender to make a milkshake is one of my favourite quick breakfast ideas. The soft and frothy milk taste is absolutely delicious and is much less fattening than regular milk.
You could add fruit or two along with it such as avocado and top it off with some freshly chopped spinach This is extremely tasty and healthy at the same time. A quick and easy way to lose weight.
In addition, if you are using this smoothie recipe to lose weight, make sure you have a dedicated diet plan and stick to it. Changing your diet is an excellent way to lose weight but you need to know that some foods will help more than others such as bananas and ice cream. Over the past few years, there has been a much greater emphasis on eating healthy and natural foods. The slow food movement is sweeping the nation as people are becoming increasingly concerned about the effects of fast food. Although some people say that fast food is good for you, there is growing evidence that it could be detrimental to your health.
Fast Food – A history lesson
Today fast food has become a billion dollar industry. Children love fast food. It is like candy, cheeseburgers, pizzas and kebabs all rolled into one. It’s owned by giant food corporations like McDonalds and Pizza Hut. By the way, if you quit looking at nuts and oils and when you take a bite there is a moment of letting go. This is accompanied by feelings of fullness and satiety. This is happening because the chemicals in fast food have not yet had time to be fully absorbed by our bodies. We are therefore staying hungry and/or filling up with food.
Meat – Not So Healthy
Today meat is considered a dietary staple and shredded meat are often fed to farm raised animals. Meat is however not the only culprit here. Processed foods contain unhealthy, transported ingredients such as MSG and nitrates. The structure is often added using meat bi-product and cornstarch.
